Default Quick tire/wheel question

My friend wants to buy bronze subzeros in 17".
He has no clue what tire to get. Can anyone help him out please?
Is he supposed to get 5x114.3 +40mm, 17x7.5 ?

What size tires should he get? He doesn't like too low profile tires.
Btw, he's on stock height, going to lower soon.
EDIT: It's '00 Prelude.

After searching I found out that most people get 40's. Must be in order to prevent rubbing or something when the car is lowered.
