What is the difference between a sunroof and a glasstop? The problem that I am haveing is that I have a right hand drive 1991 Honda Civic which is said too be a SiR but I always thought that all SiRs come with a sunroof, this one doesn't have one . . . so I am kinda wondering if it is a real one. It has all the suff to make it a SiR, B16A . . . power steering . . . auto. windows . . . head rest on the back seat . . . one piece center console . . .hopefully I can post some pics later on so you guys could see for yourself.

Ok well now we know you have a Civic.
A CR-X SiR is what people are referring to as having a glass top. The entire roof on a glass top CR-X is GLASS. Nothing moves, no sunroof, whole roof is glass.
A Civic SiR has a glass sun roof.
Edit: well idk if all Civic SiR has sun roof. I would assume yours is. Look at the VIN, if it says EF9 anywhere, then you have a genuine Civic SiR.

yeah I just went and checked the VIN does start with EF9, just thought that was wierd tho never knew that some SiR's don't have a sun roof . . . thanks you guys helped alot....ok you guys have any idea what I should do too the car first? It is completely stock right now . . . .

If I had a genuine SiR, I'd keep it that way. STOCK. Please, please keep it bone ******* stock. Just make it look like it rolled off the factory floor...

As i import SIR crx's from time to time, here are the facts:
- no, not all sir's had a sunroof or even power windows for that matter
- most have power sunroofs
- some had glass roof's, but definitly not as common
