Default Question: 97gsr into a 98ex will it be plug and play?

Will a 97gsr, which is obd2a I believe, be plug and play for a 98ex which is also obd2a, correct? So if I have my information correct it should be plug and play and I wouldn't need any jumper harness nor have to change the dizzy and what not. Can somone please confirm this. Any advice would be appretiated. Thanks in advance

You still have to add/modify some wires...
