About to purchase CAI for 2006 s2k with 21k miles. any suggestions? my buddy says k&n, and they are dyno proven for 9.55HP gain, but i am also looking at the injen or AEM. any info would help. thanks!

look on that s2ki.com website there is a guy selling a k&N intake u are talking about.. thats the one i have in my car and I like it.. sounds good! dont know if i can feel any power difference though

intakes are good for a couple hp, not 9.55

 

Not many intakes fit the 06 because of the the relocation of the IAT sensor that they did for 06+.

K&N has a intake specific for the MY06.

 

I would keep the OEM intake and just get a drop in filter such as Spoon or a K/N.

 

Good luck with the 9.55 HP gain with an intake.

I would say go with the AEM. I liked mine when I had it.
