The USDM stock exhaust diameter is 2.25" for the most part, but it does bottle up in a few places to 2" or smaller if I'm not mistaken.

Not the best performance exhaust out there, but very good for a stock system, still flows quite nice and is very quiet while still obtaining a nice deep tone.

My original OEM exhaust failed on me this year on my 97 ITR, so I replaced it with another stock setup from the dealer

Since we're on the subject of oem exhaust, if i plan to run a test pipe with an aftermarket midpipe and the oem axle back, will there be anything negative bout that setup? Just tryin to get better flow, but keepin the noise to factory levels and the look of oem as well.

Just note that if your GS-R isn't a '00-'01, the length of the setup will be too short for your car (assuming it was previously installed on an ITR).
