I did some searching and found this setup...^^^^^^^^^

Not to steel an idea but this looks very simple to duplicate.

So my question is: With "street" tires and Carbotech XP10 front / XP8 pads would a setup this elaborate be any better than just zip tie'n the hose close to the brake? I think it would be fun to play around with building something like this as a winter project but if the benifits are nill I wont waste my time.

The problem with just using the ducts and zip tieing them to point at the caliper or rotor is they don't always stay there. In terms of cooling I don't think there really would be much difference.

 

Any other input on this subject???
