There's obviously an issue with how you wired them. You should be using the existing wiring and simply connecting it to the new bulb sockets. Can you describe in a bit more detail what you've done?

Well first thanks for helping...out of the corner light there is one black wire and one green wire..what should be wired up into these. Right now all I have set up is the turn signals. Black wire into another black wire and green into another green. There is still another black wire/red wire/green wire that I dont know what to wire up to.

What year is your car? If it's a '98+, I will go check outside to see what the exact colours of each of the wires are, because I don't know them off-hand. The easiest way when you're doing wiring would be to use a multi-tester to find out which wires are getting power when the turn signals or parking lights are on.

Well, on the '98 the colours are as follows:

red -- parking light +

green -- turn signal +

black -- earth

How do you have the turn signal wired up? I'm not really certain why you'd be having problems with the cluster.

Been working on mine for a couple nights. Well that came to an end when I popped the main fuse that powers all the lights. (Green wire).

Anyways, looking forward to seeing your pics of how you wired it up.

when wiring the parking light do you not put the red wire(parking light) and the green wire (flasher for turn signal) into the same green wire coming out of the corner light? When I wire this red wire up along with the green wire (flasher) it gives me problems..like the turn signals no longer work.

No, that's not how they should be wired. The JDM corner lights use a single-filament bulb (which is why there are only two wires), and they only function as turn signals and hazard lights. The "parking lights" are the city lights that are located in the high beam reflectors. The wiring should be as follows:

corner light + connected to turn signal wire +
corner light - connected to turn signal wire -

city light + connected to parking light wire +
city light - connected to parking light wire -

If you want the corner lamps to work as both turn signals and parking lights, you're going to have to buy new bulb sockets that accept dual-filament bulbs.
