Default How do you remove the back seat in an EF Civic?

I'm trying to get at the fuel wires to make a kill switch. I know that's where they were in my 2g CRX, so I assume they're in the same place with this car. Anyone?

On one side of the "backs" of the rear seats there is a clip that slides in. Remove this clip by pulling it and slide the seat from left to right until it comes out. Do this on each side and underneath the "backs" you will find one bolt that holds the "bottoms" in place.

that is what I did only I cut the wires for the cigarette lighter and wired them through the fuel pump wires. So the car wont start if the cigarette lighter is not deppresed. It works great and looks factory. How many car thefts are going to want to smoke on there raids..... hehe

That's a fine idea, but you lose the functionality of your cig lighter. I already have a switch anyways...

Haha, I meant for things like charging your cell phone and ****. Got me thinking though...if I can get a new cig lighter to actually use as a cig lighter, maybe put that in the glove box (I don't use it much anyways), then I can do that...so your cig lighter doesn't pop out at all?

The reason why the cig lighter pops out is cause its heated up. This happens at X temrature the thing pops. but driving around even offraod it aint gonna pop out. I have never had any problems with it
