always fill out your bill of sale.
remember to always fill out the bill of sale. i just got a letter from tacoma towing saying that they have my 94 mazda protege..... which i sold over 7 months ago. the dick that i sold it to never reported the bill of sale. so i got stuck with the 294 dollar bill to get the car out. and there adding 39 $ a day. and it says if i DO NOT pay the towing charges i will receive a traffic violation ticket in the mail. Good thing i filled out the report of sale online 
. the only bad thing is that i have no printer... so i didnt print it. now i have to go through this whole crap of trying to get a new bill of sale sent to me from the capitol ( olympia) so i can show the people at the towing yard. and also the tacoma police. ahhh just another lesson learned the hard way.

lol that car was a pEICE!!! heres the whole story on that... i bought the car for $400 used. on rebuilt title. from some rusian guy. it had a 1.8liter mazda motor in it... pretty fast. beat my bros 2000 jetta 2.0L . . anywho. i gutted the car out for fun on one of my days off.
one day my brother needed a jump start. so i drove over and jump started car. this is a PEICE of crap. loud as hell, no exaust , nuthing but sheetmetal inside.
on my way home from his house a guy doesnt stop at a stop sign. i hit him. he tells me hes sorry blah blah blah. in the end he gives me $300 dollars to settle out of court.
thats $300 dollars for a car i paid $400 dollars for... pretty good. but get this. i sold the car the next week on criagslist for 250 with bent hood and smashed grill. that means for the whole period of me learning to drive a stick i actually got PAID for doing it.
and then the guy that i sold it to was a DICK and ditched it on the freeway in TAcoMA!!

had a similar experience, guy i sold the car to ditched it many months later.
I got a letter from a towing company that I owed them hundreds to get 'my' car.
I told them I sold the car months ago and then BSed em, said my dad was a lawyer and they can either call him or keep the car, which was worth a bit more than what they said i owed them, (BS storage fees, etc..)
they never responded back

my letter was more of a threat. it says if i dont pay them i will have a traffic violation and i will get my licence taken till i pay them.

the weirdest thing happened today. this is a TRUE story!
i was on my lunch break today from work and i went home for lunch. i was standing in the kitchen looking through the hall, out my bedroom window. i see a grey car drive by halling *** prolly 45 ina 25. i thought it kinda looked like a protege... but then again i only saw it for a meer second. i just went on cooking some bacon and eggs ... the next thing i know i hear a honking and reving up of the motor. ( its still loud as hell becuase i cut the cat off..) so i walked to the window at my front door and see the bottom half of a GREY mazda protege with sitty side markerlights that are taped on. (the russian before I had the car did it). then i wanted to see who it was that was driving my old car. i was kinda worried it was the junkyard guys comming to kill me or sumthin for not paying. lol it was this little black dude that lives down the road. he works at the SHITTTTiest car lot EvER! they sell like 100 -2000 dollar cars. anyways that kid had my car that the tacoma towing company told me i owe them now about 500 dollars for.
what should i do? nuthin? just forget about it?
