For $500 can you beat the Eibach Pro kit System? (EG)
The eibach pro system seems like a great deal - because the shocks are matched for the springs, and the Pro kit has always had good reviews for a street setup.
Thing is - they're backordered for a few weeks and I'm just wanting to explore the alternatives and see if there is anything better out there for the money.
What's your thoughts?

Any reply you get will be meaningless, without you answering this. What do you intend to do with the car, and what do you expect from it?
A daily driven street only car has seriously different needs than an autocross only car, for example.

DD street car. I just like to drive hard. Maybe an autocross every now and then.
I've had koni yellows/nuespeed sports, agx's and sportlines, and h&r's cup kit (all on different cars.
I think the setup I liked the best was the Koni/nuespeed. H&R was way too soft.
Thing is though, I know that the Prokit is probably right around the spring rate of the Nuespeeds - I'm just wanting to know if civics handle pretty well with this suspension package.. or if I should just mate some nice springs to some Koni red's and be done with it.

I am planning on trying this setup though for about $100 - $150 more, the Koni sport kit seems to be the better option. It will lower the car about the same, but the Koni sport dampers are said to be superior and are adjustable where as the Eibach dampers are not.
I have the Koni Prokit setup. Its a nice setup. Definitely much better than stock. I have it matched up with my ASR brace, ITR rear sway, front and rear upper strut bars. Handles excellent, and very nice and comfortable for the long drive. I would like a lower drop though. Even with 16's, I have a 3 finger gap in the front, 2 in the rear, both front and rear shocks set at the middle perch. I might re-do the front and go at the lowest perch, but I'm more concerned with having everything balanced. I would get eibach sportlines. They give you a better drop with about the same drive comfortability.
