shotpeened LS rods
to my understanding they come shotpeened from the factory
some ppl just get them done again for "extra" strength.
imo, you should be fine with them the way they are as long as you have arp rod bolts and not reving past 9.
If money is not an issue diffinetly go aftermarket.
