Default shotpeened LS rods

im building an LS-VTEC and i wanted some feedback on builds using shotpeened LS rods when going NA instead of aftermarket rods...

if you have the money to go with aftermarket go with it, would be a good idea to get arp rod bolts anyway for high rev applications

to my understanding they come shotpeened from the factory some ppl just get them done again for "extra" strength.

imo, you should be fine with them the way they are as long as you have arp rod bolts and not reving past 9.

If money is not an issue diffinetly go aftermarket.
