alright heres the situation i just got my car back not to long ago and before it ran straight, but after driving it now it will randomly shut off. It isnt like when the main relay goes bad and u have to sit there for awhile for the car to start back up but this is like im cruising then theres a pause or like a long bog and if i give it gas it will seem like im pressing on the brakes and it just shuts off, i can start it back up immidiatly... hope that makes some sense thanks ahead for the the help

 

when you say you "just got the car back" what do you mean by that? we need more details. sounds like a ignition or fuel problem tho

 

Check the plugs for fouling and check the connections to the sensors such as MAP, MAF, TPS and such

my car has been in the shop getting some minor cosmetics done to it and i belive its been sitting for a while could that be something?

sitting for how long? Sounds like a fuel problem. plugged filter or weak fuel pump maybe?

 

will look into the filter bump for more suggestions

what do you think about the coil?spark is there
take the fuel line of the fuel pressure regulator to see if it is throwing fuel?
sitting for long maybe bad fuel?

 

ether bad spark,, or bad fuel,, put some 93 octane in adn see if that helps any,,
