yea it sucks i didnt have a cage...i didnt expect the car to go that fast...so even on the brakes i still broke out

 

that thing 60fts like a bat out of hell. what size slicks? how much does the car weigh? great stuff.

Those are 23x8-13 M&H's. I'm not sure about the weight.

AlphaMike&lt;---(best crew chief ever) is correct about the slick size..the car weighs 1890lbs. w/driver...just ike Lesie Durst was sayin in the other thread...power to weight ratio is everything

good stuff... the GTi is about to undergo quite a bit of weight reduction soon and im gonna be swapping these 10 year old 22s out for 23s. Again, great stuff

Thanks Tim!!! Car's drop tenths when I work on them, especially when the owner isn't looking (Cough Cough) Steve's car...

Tim's car always amazes me. I still can't get over how well it runs especially with as much leak down it has on one cylinder. His chassis is set up real well, hence the 60ft's. Even on drag radials the car 60ft's rediculous. His driving isn't too shabby either Expect to see alot more out of this car in 2007!!!

thanks Mike....i think my car amazed alot of ppl this year with how basic the set up is...im hoping the car will do better next year
