alright, i (a noob) need your help finding the source of this leak, and how serious it is.
ok, here's the first pic, this one is not as close as the second one, but that's where this new spot has appeared.
and then ...>
from the image it looks green, so idk, it doesn't look like oil to me, especially since it's leaking like mad and the oil level is fine. So idk, help me? Don't flame me too badly lol.
BTW this is on the drivers side of the car.

doesnt matter. a slow leak will not cause your car to overheat right away. you will eventually lose enough coolant to where your car will overheat tho

clean up all the coolant. under and in your engine bay. Then turn your car on and look around and find the leak. Thats really the only way to find it.
Definately clean it! Best and only way. Jack it up and turn it on. Let it sit and run and check for leak on hoses upper and lower. If its on the oil pump side, then I dont see how any hoses completely from another side would reach it.
looks to be the waterpump as the only coolant lines run over the passenger side of the engine bay, the only coolant lines are the upper/lower rad hose, heater hose, and a couple of hoses that run into and out of the intake manifold, so I would conclude that the water pump is leaking if its coming down the oil pan. Inside the timing belt cover there is a small hole at the very bottom that allows coolant leaking out of the water pump weep holes to collect and drain out as an indicator of needing a new water pump. This is exactly what happened to my 90 hatch and I replaced the water pump soon after. I just replaced a friends water pump that this had been happening to and he let it go until the bearing seized and the pulley ate away at the aluminum housing around the water pump and eventually stopped turning and stretched the timing belt and caused the car to not run because the timing was so screwwed up. Replacing the water pump isn't that bad a job, I would do it with only an OEM pump and clean all the old gasket away before you put it back on. And note the location of the long bolt, there are 4 one is longer than the other 3. Good luck
umm you dont have to take the motor out to do a timing belt job.. but if thats the way you do it then ok. the best way to solve this problem with the leak is to go to autozone or a parts store and rent the pressure gauge that attaches to your radiator like a cap, it has a pump on it.. clean up all the mess that is already there and with that tool you will easily be able to pinpoint the leak... good luck
Listen to us bro. It's green and most likely it's leaking from your radiator. Turn your car on...and try and watch for leaks... it doesn't matter if you just changed your water pump yesterday or a few weeks ago..... just check your radiator area... ....
thouroughly...
good luck.

One of the most basic things that you should know if you own a car is: What color each fluid is in your car.
a simple google search of "car fluid colors" gives me this page: http://www.thecarguy.com/articles/fluids.htm

ah ok, well, first, i didn't say that i didn't know this was coolant, escpecially since i put the green one in, what i asked was what the "source" of this was. I said it wasn't oil because i've also got an oil leak and since it's on the road not a bright driveway all i see are black spots. I did read the page though, spotology is useful
