I may be getting a 1994 Accord Coupe and the interior was all spray painted and I will need to gut it all anyway and I would like factory black panels to put in if possible....

Has anybody had good luck with vinyl dyes to color the light interior pannels? I love the light tan exterior, but the interior makes it a bit much

The best way to color vinyls is with products called a vinyl resin. Although if you don't have a paint gun vinyl dyes work fairly well. But it will take multiple coats for the color to hide well enough.

But SEM makes flex coat paints and vinyl colors. If you know of any auto body supply stores you can buy some rattle cans for less than 5 bucks a pop.

My best advice will be to to expect any interior coloring to be a process of trial and error.

It'll take more work and money to do it right and make it look good. But that's like anything else, gotta put some effort into it to make it as good as it can be.
