Default HONDA CBR 600 F4-F4I 99-06 H4 XENON HEADLIGHT BULBS

has anyone installed these bulbs on their f4i? I am comparing the stock bulbs with the xenon one and it doesnt look like it will fit. thanx in advance.

An H4 bulb will fit in an H4 bulb housing.

it fits in the electrical socket, no prob. but it doesnt seem to fit in the housing. the stock bubl's outer ridges are much smaller than the xenon ones.

my f4i uses h7 bulbs....

plus those will just give you bluish light, not really more usable light

but good luck getting those in a h7 housing, plus the wiring wont plug in either

Yeah you got the wrong bulb you need H7's not H4's

those arent real xenon lights. they might have a higher wattage and a blue tint.. but you run the risk of frying your electrical wires and you actually dont get any more usable light(like mentioned above)

Real xenon lights require a ballast, ignitor etc..

this is what a real xenon light looks like:



I hope you didnt pay much for those lights, they usually dont last more than a few hundred hours
