Default Which is best LSD for EP3?

I would like to buy a LSD for my CTR that is low maintenance and reasonably good performance for road use. I am not looking for a LSD that effects the turning circle of the car drastically or is very noisy. Initially I was interested in buying the spoon LSD but I found out that it will need servicing annualy since it makes use of certain plates so was now looking at the quaife LSD which which i heard is good , comes with a warranty and needs no maintenace.

does anyone have anyone of these LSDs or else would like to share his opinion on any other LSD.

Thanks

Maintenance free = Quaife LSD or JDM OEM LSD

The CTR comes standard with LSD - what's wrong with the OEM unit?

Only JDM CTR comes with LSD. My honda is Euro Version and comes without one. Thanks for your opinion but does anyone know how often the spoon lsd will need to be serviced and does the quaife lsd have any disadvantages. At the moment i am close to choosing the quaife although it's a bit more expensive, but would like to know what you think before I make the final decision.

Thanks

Spoon LSD = clutch-type

Quaife/OEM CTR LSD = helical (mechanical).

For a daily driven car, get the mechanical LSD. It does not make noise nor does it need to be serviced any more or less.

The Spoon LSD will be better in terms on handling, but it is a race LSD.

How about the stock LSD from the new Civic Si? It's OEM but it probably wont hold up to much abuse once you start adding significant power to the motor.

That's whack. Although I love the Mugen clutch type LSD in my Integra, I'd go with the Quaife for a daily driver.
