Where can I obtain an electrical schematic for the 2002 CRV? There seems to be some problem with the AC compressor and I'd like to disconnect it (pull the fuse). It's not clear from the owner's manual which fuse to pull and the AC compressor cannot be shut off when the defrost is on.

 

It's normal for the compressor to turn on with the defrost button. Most cars produced now do that.
Do you mean it's making noise? If so the compressor is bad and needs to be replaced along with the reciever drier.
The best thing you can do is pull the a/c clutch relay in the under hood fuse box. It should be labled.

 

There is a simple way to defeat the automatic AC ON feature in the defrost mode. I don't recall the exact proceedure, but you just turn the temp and distribution selectors to a certain setting , etc, etc. Do a search for turning off AC or something. Or maybe someone with a link will post it.
