Default D16A6 Stage 1 Crane Cam fit D15B7?

I was wondering if this cam would work in my D15B7? I would also have to get a Y8 cam gear right? Would any aftermarket Y8 cam gear work?

Here is link for Cam:

Thanks! Does anyone else have some info? Just wanting to know before I buy, cause I know the stock D16A6 cam will fit the D15B7 w/Y8 cam gear. Just wanna know if the aftermarket is the same.

it will be 1/2 a tooth off, or 4.7 degrees. You can use an adjustable cam gear and correct it, or us a y8 cam gear.

I emailed Exospeed about there Cams and they only have the Stage 2 and 3 in stock. Would a stage 2 cam be better than a stage one performance wise? What im asking is I really would like to have more low end to mid range power. Thanks!

our Stage 1 D16A6 cam is really Mild. Stages can differ with different companies so research well before making a decision. At one point we had 8 different cams to choose from for the A6, but we narrowed it down to 4 advertised on our site and the more aggressive race cams are stage 5+ are custom made to each customer.

Our stage 1 was designed really for some racing classes that do not allow cams. Such as Autocross or Road Racing. They want some power but cant let others know they have something in there. Its mild but it does give a better mid range. I guess you can say its a cheater cam. We dont really push that one unless people need it for that specific reason.

Our stage 2 SR909 and Stg 3 Race A6 is the best choice for a street driven car. powerband is 2500 to 7500rpm. They work well with stock blocks so high compression is not Necessary.
