Hey all ive searched with no avail.. I have a 96 hatch and was wondering how the hell do i get the vinyl peice off of the E brake lever do i have to remove the whole thing or can the plastic peice come off seperatly? im just wondering because im changing from grey to black and dont know how to remove the handle to paint it or just replace it any help would be great thanks

 

You have to be really strong to try and twist it off. It comes off, but needs a lot of force.

 

grab the handle with an tight grip. Then just pull outward turn it left and right, kinda like ur jiggle'n it out...if u just try to pull on it, it wont work.
