Default clutch engament point moving?

does this happen on our cars. sometimes i'll pull up to a lite and barly have to lift my foot off the clutch b4 it engages (and susualy stall the car that way) and other times i can pull up and it engages blut 3/4 of the way up from the floor.

is this serious? safe to drive? known issue (TSB)?

BTW off subject where is a good TSB site pertaining to only 7gen hondas. and yes i've searched 7thgen civic but havent found a good one.

To my knowledge, there are not any active TSB's out for the 01-05's, but I may very well be wrong.

But to awnser your question, it sounds like your clutch is either slipping, or there is air in the lines somewhere. But that is just a guess...

yeah I would check your fluid and bleed your lines and if you are still having problems take it to your mechanic

your clutch could be slipping, air in the lines or extremely dirty fluid could be to blame. you could also be overheating your clutch if you drive it hard. My clutch does funny stuff in the morning when it's really cold, but becomes more predicatable when it gets up to temp.

oh, and there are quite a few TSB's for the 7thgen. Honda just doesnt like unauthorized people to look at them. Im sure if you google search it you'll find a few sites that post them.
