well i just decided to install my msd cap and blaster coil, but i ran into a problem..

the cap won't slide over the internal coil. obviously i have to remove it but what do i do with the blk/ylw wire and green wire??

i wired the msd blaster coil to the blk/ylw wire and blue wire coming out of the distributor..

i can't afford to blow something because i use my car for work every day and tomorrow is no exception.. please help a hard working guy out.. thanks

 

i just read on accordinglydone.com that the internal coil comes out and the two wires get hooked up to the coil. only difference is instead of the blue wire it is a green wire..

can anyone verify this before i go out to my garage and do this?? thanks
