Default CF Hood Install

I'm trying to install my CF hood but I need to remove that plastic panel that is above the hood. I removed the wipers already and popped the clips (do they come out completely? doesn't seem so)...I noticed other clips on the bottom portion of the black panel, but I dont know how to remove them? And my car is an EM1.

wow. are you trying to take the hood off without popping the hood first?...there are four clearly visible bolts holding it on. just pop your hood.

by the way...you will probably want another person to hold the other side of the hood.

i had the same problem with mine when i got it... vis hood for a 99-00??...anyways i never solved the problem...long story...so i would like to know as well....i thought maybe cutting the squirters themselves instead of the cf hood.

if you had explained the hinge part from the beginning...you wouldnt have gotten those responses. you have to tell the full story to get the help you want.

you probablly should have mentioned that in the beginning post not just state that you didnt know how to install it. had you said "hey...i just got a CF hood and i want to paint my hinges to make them look better but i cant figure out how to get the plastic off. any help?!?!" people would have helped.

but instead you made your self look ******* retarted. so dont bitch about people flamming you...when you say flame worthy stuff.

btw good luck getting the plastic off.
