is there any reason why the type r half shaft is better than other b-series half shafts?

The intermediate shaft is the same on (if Im not mistaken) all B series. All 94-01 Integras share the same axle, some just have the ABS ring and some do not.

the abs ring creates a signal for the abs sensor to determine if one wheel is spinning faster then the other wheels. Its a hall effect sensor, right guys? It's at the end if the axle, looks like teeth going around the cv end shaft.
