Default Vaccum leak! Noooooo...

I have a slight issue, I am pulling a code 14 (still) but I have finally nailed down the cause! (I'm 99% sure, that is )

The problem is this. The carbon canister in my hatch (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1795378) is from a 00 Si, but the hose that connects it is the wrong size (too big), and this causes a vaccum leak which throws off the ECU control of the IACV and makes the car idle rough and be VERY touchy when first getting on the throttle...

I need a reducer, but I don't know where to find one, or what size to get!

Here is one link I found, if anyone can look through and help me identify which of these parts might work, that wopuld be GREAT!

Thanks

Keep the same tube on the canister but use the ziptie idea to tighten it down so there won't be any leak, or if you want it better looking get a small hose clamp and tighten the **** out of it. Other than that, check Autozon, Advanced Auto, Pep Boys perhaps

I have no idea why you got the title you did.

But seriously...2 days later...WTF? Why is the reducer not a good enough suggestion?

wow... haters... Get a life...

the reason for the title is...

ding ding ding, I HAVE A VACCUM LEAK!

I solved the problem, thanks in major part to the resident ***-whoppers clever, and also ingeniously original flaming.

So here's to Archidictus, the most helpful soul on all of H-T.
