does a type-r pressure plate have more clamping force than a b18b pressure plate?

Stock vs. stock I'd have to say yes an OE ITR pressure plate is stiffer than an LS plate. They definately carry a different OE part number, and I seriously doubt they're the same part with different numbers.

 

does anyone know for a fact or have numbers???

I honestly do not know where you'd find those sort of specs. I don't know of where Honda would even list that sort of info.
