I currently have 91k miles on my '95 GSR. I need to change my timing belt ASAP. Any suggestions as to where I can purchase one??? Also, should I change my water pump at the same time? Thanx...
go to your local auto shop and get a new timing belt. Yes you should also change the water pump as long as you have all that stuff off. Be prepared to have a tool (impact gun, breaker bar, or 4 boxes of wheaties) to get that crankshaft pulley bolt off. I screwed with mine for 2 days before buying the moroso crankshaft pulley remover for $70. good luck
Dealer or some other distributor of OEM Honda parts. DO NOT skimp when it comes to timing belts, use only HONDA OEM.
get all the belts and water pump from them. you might have to replace your tensioner too. i have one that was used for 500+ miles. i swapped LS motors with my friend so i didnt use it too long. they go for about $70+. ill sell u it for $40 shipped.
