Hey,

has anyone bought these wheels recently ?
I'm kinda confused about how they really look,
cause it seems that the color of the wheel has changed.

and these are pics I found on HT




The only colors available are white, bronze and gunmetalic but as you can see,
the color of the wheels on ssr's homepage is different to the pics I found on HT.

So, can anyone tell me how those wheels look now, since Tanabe bought SSR ?

where are you buying the wheels from.

The two on the bottom are anthrancite with machined lip. . SSR competitions.

I´m going to buy them in Japan.
So you´r saying that the US version (Competiton) looks different to the jdm version (Type C) ?

Type-C come in solid colors such as white/gold/gunmetal.
The ones with the polished lip are an "anthracite" which is the only US color.

 

So can I assume that the gunmetalic Type C wheel really looks like on the picture ?

Yes they will look like the CTR and the other little red car you posted pictures of.

Type-Cs are definitely one of my all-time favorites. Good choice although the gunmetal ones are a little played out..
I'd have opted for white, but that's just me. A good 3/4 of my 15 sets of wheels have been white

 

Besides tire-rack, any suggestions on where to purchase these wheels?

I'v searched google, but I'v had trouble finding good resources. Thanks.
