installing an alpine deck. two harnesses?

Default installing an alpine deck. two harnesses?

my friend gave me his old alpine deck.. i bought an alpine harness.. but my cousin says i also need a honda harness? can anyone verify this?

You don't NEED a Honda harness. but it would make installation much easier. If you're handy with a soldering iron and can read a wiring diagram its a piece of cake with out a harness.

This should have been in the Audio/Security/Video Forum.

I bought my harness on ebay for $5.60 shipped.

How can you say no to that??

go to autozone and get a installation harness for like 10 bucks. makes life alot easier. you hook up the apline harness to the autozone harness and the car side of your harness plugs into the autozone harness. makes installation easier if you ever decide to put in a different CD player
