I am told that there are alot of different transmission computers and transmissions for a 90-93 accord automatic. I have a 93 I bought to fix and sell(at first I was not going to fix it and just sell it like it was.). but its been sitting here for two months. The car does not go forward and barely goes backawds. I was just going to put in another transmission in it so it would go away. I was told that the computer and transmission have to match. I know where the computer is located and how to do the transmission change. I will try and get some numbers off the transmission and ecm tomorrow. I know the car is a 4dr and has a sunroof. I don't know if the d4 light is on but I will check tomorrow. (I saw that in a couple seaches). I am not going to rebuild it because it is only 200 for another transmission.

 

Sunroof would make it an EX model
Most of the 90-93 trans will work without swapping the TCM.

 

And if it doesn't you can find the TCU fairly cheap.
