ok a couple of days ago when i started my car it started fine but i looked and the RPM needle was jumping al over the place but it only lasted a few minutes then it stopped and it was fine it did it a couple more times after that
but then today i went to start my car and it did it again but this time it didtn go away and when i tried to drive and just died on me now it wont start at all
i just wanna know if some1 knows what causing this
and i have a 97 civic ex auto

 

sounds like a bad dist. dude. normally when they start going out they do **** like that to your tach.. there are always spare ones lying around try to get someone to let ya borrow one. but im almost sure thats it/

 

could that cus the car to idle real low after driving for a while before too or is that something else

 

well it might be the cause of that too but maybe if you thorw some more info at me i might can tell you what that is too
