My 99 accord fires up fine most of the time, but some days it just wont fire up at all. I can try and crank it over the course of 20-30 minutes but it never seems to fire up. I have two cars so i normally just try again a day or two later and it fires right up. The engine turns just fine, it just seems like it isnt getting any fuel.

Any clues?

 

i would bet the green key light is flashing when it won't start. Do you have a non honda key (ilco, or another?)

 

The green key does flash, what does that mean? I have a plastic honda key with the H on it.

 

Since you mentioned the green key light ive searched and come across the immobilizer being the problem, but what i dont know is why yet. Faulty key? Faulty ignition?

 

i would say either the key has gone bad or the immobi reader has gone bad. you would need to take it to a dealer to check this out.
