Default Car sputtering? Wrong type of GAS, or fuel filter?

Here's my problem. i have a poor man's type r, and my car started sputtering all through the powerband. the past 3-4 days ive been using RACETRAC 93octane gas...is that the problem? or is it the fuel filter which is long overdue for a change...? thanks.

sparkplugs, sparkplug wire, distributor cap and rotor those might be the culprit if not anything else

mine used to bogg at idle. Turns out i used 87 gas instead of 91. I got a B16. You might have had a bad batch of gas.

at OP:
It's always possible you got a bad batch of gas...though 89 octane should be sufficient...might even be able to use 87...what's ur comp?
