Default tailight problem

My tail lights are painted over and I need ways to remove the paint w/o damaging the lights. My last resort is buying going ahead and buying new ones.

you can lightly wet sand the taillight with 2000 grit. Then get some cutting cream a orbital or any type of buffer set at low rpm and buff away then glaze it polish and wax it...should come out good if you take ur time. But tail lights are so cheap y would u waste time.
