Head light problems + check engine light. Please help.
I've got a '99 Accord and yesterday when I started it up the check engine light was on. Nothing I could do about it at the time so I drove the car anyway throughout the day. When it came time to put my headlights on, one of my lowbeams was out. Still, I continued to drive it, but by the end of the night, my other lowbeam had gone out as well. So I've got a check engine light and my lowbeams are out. Is there any correlation between the check engine light and the headlights being out? i.e. Is it possible that, although the lights aren't part of the engine, the check engine light would come on because my head lights were out? Thanks for any help.
Oh and also, if that's not the case, does anyone know what could be wrong with my headlights? Both bulbs should still be good as they're not old at all. I checked the fuses and they're still good as well. Also, since my highbeams still worked, I tried taking the terminal from the lowbeams and putting it in the highbeams slot, and the highbeams STILL worked. Meaning it's not the terminals that are bad. Again, any input would be much appreciated.

That means that you're getting power to your low beams, but your bulbs don't light up. So guess what the problem is......your bulbs.
Get the code for your CEL.
