I'll be nice.

Your cousin is a ******* retard.

It's an import by manufacturing head - not all are produced in Japan though (USDM Honda/Acuras aren't, they're produced in North America (Canada usually)). Though it's still an import by all means.

Most integras are produced in japan, actually. Jxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx vins ftw.

And Acura is just badge engineering. There aren't any Acura plants.

Acura doesn't even exist in japan! Obviously it is still import though, but only the US has Acura, all acura cars in japan are just known as Honda( i.e. Honda Integra) So founded in Japan but created for the U.S.

I hope you realize im just referring to the name as for the cars and all its all import!

Honda is also closing its Primo/Clio/Vento dealerships and turning them all into primary Honda networks. No more sabre

Wtf IMO Acura is the luxary version of Honda so that doesn't make ne sense! Should have proved your mom wrong with research. But IMO Honda>Acura. I would take a civic over a teg any day cause i like them better and i can swap anything into the civic from the teg i want.

As for th people talking about Acura being in Japan in a couple years that cool, MORE STUFF TO USE FOR SWAPPING!!

Acura was launched on March 27,1986 by Honda Motor Company. A new division of Honda North America whose goal was not only to compete with European luxury car market but to surpass it. The name came from a San Fransisco based namelab which started a "acu" a word segment that means precise in many languages. The "A" in the Acura logo became a stylized pair of calipers- a tool used for exacting measurements. The first two models available were the Legend, and Integra.

I sourced this info from the Sep. issue of Honda Tunings "Acura at 20" article. By the way the NSX in its first year was voted "best sports car ever built" by Motor Trend Magazine.

Acura is the same concept as a Honda Primo/Clio/Verno dealer network, except it's one step further with thier own monicre.
