Default Need Some Advice on Brakes

Hey guys, i need some advice on my brakes. My 93 Si hatch needs some more braking power. Its got an LS motor on a 75 shot. After two runs my brakes start to fade and the car has trouble stopping. It has front and rear discs, but I need something better. I wanted to get a Powerslot big brake rotor kit, but i have 15" slipstreams and i was told by one of my friends who has them, that you need 16's in order for them to fit. I was wondering if i could get away with integra brakes, cross drilled and slotted rotors, and ebc pads? I am open to any suggestions, please help!

slotted and drilled rotors have less metal, so think of it as a weaker heatsink than a solid rotors.

so, get yourself some blanks (brembo works, but so does the less expensive autozone duralasts that many nasa/scca racers use), hawk hps pads, bleed/flush fresh fluid and you'll have some dime-stoppin' brakes. maybe freshen your brake lines with new ones (ss braid is up to you if you want to deal with the risks) and freshen up the master cylinder if its old.

are you kidding me? Please dont post stuff like this. That is a retarded way to get your post count up. A post count doesnt meant ****. How much you help and know will gain you respect. I can think of several people that have a **** ton of post, but I wouldnt take a word of advice from.

/rant

OP, get blanks and good pads as stated before. Dont waste your money on a big brake kit.

So I just get new rotors and a good set of pads? So I shouldn't upgrade to integra GS-R brakes?

try blanks, good pads, and changing out your brake fluid first, and then you can decide if you need bigger brakes after that
