If its a D15b, then one of two things happened, you either in Japan or someone swapped. If it says D15 and any other letter or number is after it then its a none vtec engine. That doesn't mean you can't swap heads, give it a block guard and boost the hell out of it though.

ok, for the last time, when you looked at the motor code, was there a possible 7 or 1 after the B? if so facto its american most likely and stock. if it only said D15 with a space next to it, then its japanese and swapped in. and i would also say vtec and honda right on the valve cover. It sounds like you need to double check - if in fact it has vtec, you will love it, if not, you can boost it! there tons of way to do things with this motor, only prob, need to know if its vtec, you say its not - but then where are the 7 and 1????????

I just drove my jdm d15b today, and its really fun

That is why your are here mr. student, you need to learn this stuff - but dont worry - we will all be here to help and make fun of you along the way. . . . try to be more specific next time tho

its not VTEC, 16valve sohc thats it, i know if it said vtec, and i know the motor wasnt swapped cause a woman had the car and she sold it to this boys dad for 800 bucks , and it said D15 B or Y something
