clear corners for G3 teg
So, seeing other silver tegs with clear corners and how good they look, i'm thinking of getting a pair. Where is the best place to buy them? I looked on eBay and there's quite a few, they go for like $25. Is that a decent price? The link below is an example of an ad on eBay.

That's a very good deal. Why don't you save up $100.00 more and get a CAI. You will get a lot more use out of it than cosmetic clear corners. Plus the stock corners give it a sleeper look.
check out http://www.modacar.com they have them too for a really cheap price

They're pretty much all the same. I spent $25 on some generic pair from NOPI last year (stock 94-97 bumper lenses are fugly IMHO). I just added an extra bead of silicone sealant around the edges of the lenses to ensure they wouldn't fog up.

I too want to know where the cheapest clear corners/tail lights can be purchased. The front corners are great for hacking up and turning into brake duct pickups and the rear have got to be cheaper than OEM so it is no big deal if they get busted in a race.
I've got a set Cobra, one side has a couple cracks in the lens...wont matter if you're hacking them up anyway, I guess. 94-97 clears...Ill trade em for a few #5's from Roys
Figured Id post instead of IM just in case anyone was looking for the same thing.

wjat year is your teg? I am trying to get rid of mine from my 96 LS that are just sitting here collecting dust. If yours is a 94-97, you can have mine for $20.
Cracks won't mean **** to me because the lenses will go bye-bye and the whole piece will get painted.
EDIT: Lemme see how much I can justify spending on them . . .

If you're going to get clear corners, make sure you get the "Euro-Style" lamps, which are more of a reflective/clear/crystal-like corner, compared to the regular style which seems to be more blurry and white (rather than clear).
Why? I am cutting them up and using the pieces to make brake duct pickups. They will not even be clear or have bulbs in them when I am done with them.

the euro-style lenses are crap. The wedge bulb will not be as bright if it doesn't have the prismatic reflector in it. Also I would rather have a white/clear reflector than no reflector at all.

Yes the housing is reflective inside but the prismatic/reflector material helps to focus the light and make it light up the entire lens. Ever seen euro-clear corners for Accords which have 2 194 bulbs inside? If the lens is clear you only see the actual bulb light up, not very bright. If you have some kind of prismatic material over it (OEM or regular clear corners) then it will look like the entire corner light is lit up. Notice the square piece inside the Integra bumper light where the 1157 bulb goes, that also helps to focus the light and make the light output more efficient.
Plus to me euro clear lights just look cheap, like something anybody could do w/ a piece of clear lexan and some glue.

I still don't understand the difference between Euro and Clear and whatever else.. all I know is that the corners I ordered was not exactly what I expected.
I want whichever one has the reflector stuff inside that seems to make the corner whiter/brighter.. the other one just looks kinda 'blah'. Which corner would I need to buy??

I have a set of clear corners, brand new, still in the plastic wrapping, I bought them from modacar, (great company by the way) I will let them go for $25 bucks, plus shipping (10 dollars) I will accept paypal. Let me know if you want them. I bought them for a 3rd gen I thought I was going to be purchasing, but the deal fell through. Never used, hardware included. 94-97 Integra.
Thanks,
Justin

Here is a picture of a "clear" lense (notice the reflector in the side lense):

the reflector spreads the light out to make it light up the whole side part of the housing. If there's nothing in front of the bulb then you just see the bulb lit up, and it doesn't really light up the whole section of the housing.
