Hello there! My brake pedal falls slowly when i step on the brake pedal. I bled all 4 corner brake lines last week and the problem showed up again today. Besides having air in the lines, are there other problems that would cause the brake pedal to slowly fall when stepped on?

The fluid doesn't seem to be leaking from anywhere. Would a busted MC or Booster cause this?

How many times do you guys release the pedal when bleeding brakes. i only did it a handful of times before no air was coming out of the brake nipple.

IF anyone has any insight, that would be great!

could be either an internal leak (master cylinder) or wheel cylinder leak (external). Check your fluid resevior level as you pump it quite a few times. If the level doesnt drop than its your MC, if it does drop.. the cups in your WC are leaking.

 

hmm, im assuming this would be with the car on.

im familiar with the MC. If in theory my wheel cylinder were busted, how would i go about changing those?

i jus recently purchased my integ front and rear brake set up so i needed to change a MC anyways. im thinking about a 91 ex civic MC which is 15/16. would this affect my brakes if i don't swap in the teg brakes yet?
