I don't know if anyone has had this problem. I went to the mechanic and he told me that I have a crack exhaust pipe. It is the pipe right after the cat. I was wondering what would that affect? I also get bad gas mileage (250 mpg) is that a problem caused by the crack in my exhaust piping? by the way i have a 94 integra gsr the only modification i have is a AEM CAI, and magnecor wires.

 

Did you mean 25 mpg or 250 miles per full tank.
Depending how I drive, I get about 250-300 miles per full tank.

It will not hurt your gas mileage. It'll just sound louder (sputtering) and slow down your exhaust gas velocity, if the crack gets bigger. Get it fixed.
