Default B16 prices with or without mounts

Alright I was almost set on diong a ZC swap since I wanted to do some auto crossing this summer plus I wanted to get a new paint job and have a pretty rex.
Well Ive come to the conclusion that I dont care about empressing anyone anymore and that I want power...so im leaving my car completely primered and stock height for now......So I can save up enough for a b16.

Ive read all about it yes this and that....and Ive looked up alot of price quotes...talked to larry at Importautosalvadge and he gave me a descent quote....for 2400....for everything. But I found Honda MOtors online site, and it was only 1,250 for full chance over...they seem reliable anyone go through them??

PS:It says the b16 sir1 comes with oem mounts...that wont work in my dx will it??? Ill have to get hasport mounts right??? cause those are 600 on there site..just need to know what to be prepared for

if you had already read all about it then you would know that you need a mount kit and the mounts that came with it wouldnt work.

MOUNT KITS:
hassport 400-600<-billet aluminum
place racing 400
hcp 400

you will need a shift linkage either from hassport, place racing, hcp unless you know a welder that can modify your stock linkages.

you will need a cable tranny swap.
honda motors oline comes with
engine
tranny
mounts <-- dont need
linkages <-- cant use unless you modify them
ecu
wiring harness for 1250

if the other swap was 2400 that was probably the delsol b16a wich has a hydraulic tranny.

I got my swap @ hondamotorsonline.com for 2150 shipped (cut me an ok deal on the mounts), which was the stuff they advertise + lsd + HASPort mounts. I was a little dissappointed in the fact that my t/b had a busted vaccuum port and the tranny was missing the clutch cable bracket. these are little things I understand, that's why I'm not pissed at all (**** happens, I didnt want to wait for him to send me new parts [time]). Also, the vtec isnt working and all signs point to the ecu. I bought another ecu, so I will see if I can verify this. If it really is the ecu, then I will call steve @ hmo and complain, but I'm not doin that until I'm sure. We'll see how he handles it from there, I'll know later this week when I get the new ecu. hth

I got my swap from hondamotorsonline. It came in great shape although the crank pulley and alternator puley was chipped...could of happened in shipping so I didn't complain. everything else was perfect and I used the axles that came with the swap as cores for brand new ones.
