gas question

Default gas question

i am using regular gas 87 octane, if i go up to 89 octane gas special will it harm my car and if i degrade back to regular is that bad also?
help!!!

What motor are you running?

Should you use 89? Is there a reason to?

i have a d15b7, some people reccomended me 2 use it once in awhile cause it burns cleaner

It does burn cleaner, but is not necessary. Just put 1/3 of a can of seafom in your tank every couple of months. Way cheaper than filling up with plus.

higher octane runs cleaner less residue on valve and less build up on pistons go only super

yes. I wouldn't worry about it to much. The rating only stands for the amount of octain in the fuel. It does burn cleaner but not enough to really make a difference. If your engine doesn't ping and you don't drive like grandma you should be fine.
