dang man what happened?

 

it was my best friend that hit me, we were all rollin together, like 5 of us. i went into his lane kinda abruptly, he was way far back and was looking out the window of his car, didnt see me merge, i yelled as loud as i could (instead of honking or moving ) and he bumped the expletive out of me.

i swear to god, i was so happy with the car when the teins went on. i was finally feeling good about it. and now this **** has to happen

im not 25 so i cant rent a car, dont know HOW the expletive i'm getting to work on monday.

 

well good luck dude. does the door stay shut at all?

 

no its bungee corded to the headrest, and the window shattered cuz it was down when i got hit. my cars sitting outside with a tarp on it right now

 

oh man...i know how depressing that can be. it'll all work out, hope it gets fixed soon.

i drove it home fine, i dont think theres any frame damage... im thinkin a new door and rear panel... cant come out to too much?

 

i wouldnt think it would be a total. i had to replace my whole front end from an accident and it came to like 3 grand, i just missed the totalled mark on that one. your door and rear quarter shouldnt be that much. and it they should just be able to fix your fender which looks like it got jacked a bit too.

well, that put me in a better mood. ive seriously been so ****** down on myself for the past couple hours. guess i'll see what insurance has to say about this tomorrow

That sucks man, is his insurance gonna pay for that or yours? Door is trashed don't quite think it'll be complete loss, quarter panel looks fixable and you'll just have to get a new door

 

probably outta my deductable, because the officer at the scene said technically it was my fault, yet neither of us were written up and we dont have a physical report. i still gotta straighten things out and see whats up.

 

geez. well maybe when you find out what the deductible is you can split with your friend...

hell no.

he has a DA. it scratched up his bumper, and his already caved in fender, and cracked the corner of his headlight, which hes replacing with JDM one pieces anyway.

 

If it wasn't your fault, your insurance won't go up.

 

Damn man, that sucks. I know the feeling, I put on my GC/Koni's, and in less than a week I fucked my car up... no on full coverage either so it just sits in front of my house. Anway, that is definitely fixable, especially since it seems like all cosmetic / panel damage. Whatever happens, be diplomatic about it... hopefully it doesn't start some beef between you and your friend. These situations can get sticky.

you really think so? i would imagine the fender and rear quarter can be repaired then replace the door. you think its that bad?
