Default Will this work?

Would 92-93 teg springs give me better handling on my 91 rex.
My friend told me to get some teg springs from the junkyard and cut them.
Is this smart or complete bull$hit?

...just think about how much of a pain in the *** its going to be to go to a yard and take out 4 strut assemblies and dismantle them in the hot sun to get some somewhat stiffer, used springs and then cutting them...
