How to make SOHC faster?

well my friend got a 93civic SOHC and he has intake DC 4-1 header and exhaust

What mod can he add to make more power

Buy a B18B1. Slightly more power, there's more torque.

the only way to make a single cam quick is by boosting it, you can do all the n/a mods in the world to it and it would still be slooow.

just my 3 cents.

you can put together a turbo setup for under 1000. just make sure you get it tuned.

Is it an EX or SI model? If not I'd do the mini-me head swap with P28 ECU. Then probably start working on the intake side of the engine by adding a D16y8 Intake Manifold, Hondata Intake manifold gasket, bigger throttle body and a Cold air intake. You can make a decently fast daily driver with a Single Cam.
