excessive cooling system pressure??

Default excessive cooling system pressure??

How can you tell if you're colling system is under excessive amounts of pressure and what might be the possible causes of it?

that's why you have a overflow/recovery tank, also a bad headgasket would cause excessive pressure

cool, bump for more opinions tho

Whats so strange about it is if ANYTHING, coolant in the overflow tanks disappears. And I didn't notice any type of oil or combustion by-products in the coolant when I drained alot of it (but not all from the block im sure) to change my radiator this past summer..
