hi all!
i have a pathetic 1995 Honda Civic Bali(1.3 Carb). when i start it in the morning, it revs at high idle(i dont have a tach on the dash), prob 4000-5000 rpm, but after 2-3minutes, it slows down to about 800-1000rpm. is this normal?

I didn't think that honda made carbs on their cars after the mid 80's. But even with that It is normal when things get cold for the car to fast idle and then return to normal after warming up as long as the car is not hunting for its idle rpm and levels out

 

this is an EU- or UK-only issue, the d13b2 engine with 75hp! its becoming extinct.
