Default Buying GSR used strut bar, what should I look for.

Im about to buy a used strut bar of a GSR. Its the same one found on em1's. What should I look for when buying it? Do factory strut bars bend out of shape over time?

These bars don't really bend over time... But they don't really give that much more rigidity to your chasis either, so I say look for something more functional... They are cheap tho.

BTW, you do know that it will only fit EM1 civic models, no others...

thats bullshit. the oem gsr strut bar will fit any 92-95 civic easily. you already have the holes in the chassis. so it should only take you about 5 minutes to put on. and it also fits any 96-00 civic. on every model except the Si coupe you have to drill the holes out. they are already there you just need to drill em out.

oh yea and the strut bar does work really well. i put one on my del sol and i noticed a big improvment than without it.

a big difference in looks. a small difference in performance that you will not notice. i like it because i can use the bar to hold on to while working on the car. it keeps you from burning your hand when the car is hot. you can do hand stands on it ,too. you could take it off the car and nail it to a door frame, then do pull ups(so you can buff up and get the ladies)(or men if you prefer)(or animals if you prefer). 1001 uses for the gsr strut brace!
