Default Clutch grabbing question

Changed my clutch and its now working alsmot fine. If i park my car on a slight incline, the engine will not hold the car as it used to.

Question is, is it normal for a brand new clutch (30 miles on it) to not grab as hard as a broken in clutch?

It really deapends on the car. Usally, it might slip a little because of the new mating surface with the flywheel until it breaks in.

like quickdxek said...it depends..after changing my clutch and stuff, the point of engagement of my clutch shifted. Before the change, the clutch grabbed middle way up, after it immediatly grabs when relasing it. With the new z6 tranny, mine now grabs wayyyyyy at the top...hope this helps
